Rafał Trzaskowski could face Mateusz Morawiecki in Poland’s 2025 presidential race

A recent survey conducted by the Pollster Research Institute for the tabloid Super Express reveals the top preferred candidates for the upcoming presidential elections. It concludes that Warsaw’s mayor Rafał Trzaskowski (Civic Coalition) could face PM Mateusz Morawiecki (Law and Justice) in this important race. 

According to the survey results, Rafał Trzaskowski garnered the most support among voters of the Civic Coalition, the Third Way alliance, and the Left party, receiving 55% of the votes. Szymon Hołownia of the Third Way followed with 16%, while Donald Tusk of the Civic Coalition gathered only 12%.

Further down, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz of the Third Way received 4%, with Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk and Adrian Zandberg (both from the Left party) at 2%. Robert Biedroń, also from the Left, was chosen by only 1% of respondents.

For voters of the United Right, former Polish PM Morawiecki emerged as the top candidate for president, gaining 50% of support. He was followed by another former leader, Beata Szydło, with 15%, and Jarosław Kaczyński, whom 9% of respondents would like to see in the Presidential Palace. 

The list continued with former Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak receiving 5%, Marcin Mastalerek at 4%, and Joachim Brudziński at 1% all politicians. All of these politicians represent the Law and Justice party.
