W imieniu 307 Squadron Project zapraszamy na wyjątkowe wydarzenie For Your Freedom & Ours, które odbędzie się w dniu 15 listopada 2021 w Exeter. Uroczystości poświęcone są pamięci polskich lotników z Dywizjonu 307.

307 Dywizjon Myśliwski Nocny „Lwowskich Puchaczy”, wchodzący w skład RAF, ochraniał południowo-zachodnią Anglię w czasie II wojny światowej. Polscy lotnicy zapobiegli m.in. przed  zniszczeniem miasta Exeter w 1942 r.

W programie For Your Freedom & Ours :

• Historia polskiego Dywizjonu 307.

• Dzieje lotniska w Exeter (gdzie Dywizjon 307 stacjonował w latach 1941-1943).

Wystawa For Your Freedom & Ours, która odbędzie się w Exeter Guildhall w godzinach 10:00 – 16:00, została przygotowana w języku polskim i angielskim. Wstęp wolny.

15 listopada 10:00–16:00

W poniedziałek 15 listopada, który jest  „Dniem Dywizjonu 307„, o godzinie 10:00 w obecności Past Lord Mayor of Exeter, Councillor Peter Holland polska flaga zostanie uroczyście podniesiona na maszcie ratusza.

O godzinie 14:00 odbędzie się ceremonia złożenia wieńca pod tablicą 307 Dywizjonu w katedrze w Exeter.

Uroczystości są organizowane przez 307 Squadron Project przy współpracy z Exeter City Council oraz Ambasadą RP w Londynie.

307 Squadron Project to brytyjsko-polska organizacja charytatywna, która powstała, aby promować
i badać historię Dywizjonu 307 oraz wspierać współpracę międzynarodową.

307 Squadron Project invites you to Exeter’s Guildhall for the special event For Your Freedom & Ours.

It will take place on 15 November 2021, to remember the Polish 307 Squadron.

The 307 night-fighter squadron was part of the RAF, who defended the South West of England during WW2. It prevented Exeter from being totally destroyed during the blitz on the city in 1942. This year also marks the 80th anniversary of the Polish squadron arriving in Exeter.

For Your Freedom & Ours includes:

• The story of the Polish 307 Squadron.

• The History of Exeter Airport where 307 Squadron were based from 1941-1943.

This free event in both English and Polish, will take place at the Exeter Guildhall, from 10:00 – 16:00.

At 10:00 the Polish flag will be raised over the Guildhall by the Past Lord Mayor of Exeter, Councillor Peter Holland. At 14:00 there will be a wreath-laying ceremony at the 307 Squadron memorial in Exeter Cathedral. The event will be attended by members of the Polish Embassy, Vice Consul Radosław Gromski, Depute Defence, Military, Naval and Air Attaché Robert Pawlicki, and Warrant Officer Krzysztof Stolardczyk

For Your Freedom & Ours has been organised by the 307 Squadron Project, with support from Exeter City Council and The Polish Embassy.307 Squadron Project is a British-Polish registered charity established to promote the role and carry out further research on the squadron that were known as the ‘Lwow Eagle Owls’.

The project also promotes cooperation between our nations.
