During a joint press conference with Janez Janša, Jarosław Kaczyński and Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Chmyhal, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki reaffirmed his solidarity with Ukraine:
“In such […] moments […] it is our duty to be where history is made. Because it’s not about us, it’s about the future of our children who deserve to live in a world without tyranny,” he said.
“We will never leave you alone. We will not leave you, because we know that you are fighting not only for your own homes, for your own country, your freedom, and your security, but also for ours,” he continued.

“[…] We are here today to admire your fight against a brutal aggressor. This invasion must stop. […] Those killed by Putin […] will never be forgotten,” he added, before underlining that Ukraine is now “the guardian of fundamental European values.”
Polish Deputy Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyński proposed entrusting NATO with a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine.
“I would like to appeal to the conscience of European leaders, to the principles they preach, because Ukraine needs help. I think it is necessary for a peaceful NATO mission or a broader agreement to operate in Ukraine,” Kaczyński explained.
