Since the 1st of April, British tourists do not need to show any COVID certificate or vaccination proof in order to enter Poland and Sweden. What’s more, British holidaymakers do not need to quarantine on arrival anymore.
“As of the 1st of April 2022, people travelling to Sweden from the UK or other countries outside the EU/EEA will no longer be required to present a negative COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination,” the Foreign Office website for Sweden announced.
The same applies to Poland where, from the 28th of March, the obligation to undergo quarantine on arrival in Poland has been lifted. There is also no longer a requirement to demonstrate any vaccination status on arrival.
Importantly, a pre-departure test is no longer necessary for British travellers arriving in these two countries. Poland and Sweden are the latest to drop their COVID-related travel rules.
Furthermore, facemasks are also no longer needed in indoor spaces in Poland, even though they remain obligatory inside pharmacies and medical facilities.
Other countries have also relaxed their epidemiological restrictions. France, for example, also reopened its borders to unvaccinated British tourists. In turn, Denmark and Gibraltar dropped all COVID entry requirements last month.
