We were recently informing you about Ukrainians cleaning up Polish parks. This time, they expressed their gratitude by a public show of appreciation for Poland’s immeasurable efforts in providing much-needed humanitarian assistance, shelter, weapons, and much more.

“Thank you” was the motto under which both long-time residents and recently arrived refugees from Ukraine marched through the streets of Warsaw last Sunday.
The Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland, Andriy Deshchytsia, appealed to his fellow citizens to participate in the event the day before on Twitter: “You meet your friends in times of war. Poles are our true friends, who fight on our side every day! On Sunday, May 29 at 5:30 p.m. we gather in front of the Sejm and along the streets of Warsaw, we will follow a march of gratitude to Poles.” – he wrote.
After the march, Ambassador Deshchytsia went on the stage, on which a special concert had been organised for the occasion. He thanked the Polish people for their tremendous solidarity.
