Kinga Kozak has signed a contract with Scotland’s biggest team, Glasgow City. The 19-year-old striker was welcomed in Glasgow and signed her contract in the prestigious Hampden Park stadium VIP area.
According to the BBC, the Scottish club signed a contract with a „dynamic and creative” Polish player. The latter counts seven appearances with the Polish national team so far.
“I believe that at the moment a trip to a foreign club is the best option for me. I feel like I need a new stimulus to keep growing. I had a proposal from Glasgow a year ago, but then I did not make this move. Now the topic has returned. The fact that they really cared about me was one of the arguments in favour of this transfer – the young Pole told Łączy Nas Piłka.

Kinga Kozak originates from Greater Poland. She used to play for Medyka Konin and GKS Katowice. Last season, she performed for Czarni Antrans Sosnowiec, with whom she won the Polish Cup and the bronze medal in Ekstraliga.
In Glasgow, Kinga will have her usual number 9 replaced by the number 16 on her back. This choice was made to honour the legendary Scottish athlete Leanne Ross who used to play with that number.
