Yesterday, the 22.5 million zlotys needed for providing Ukraine’s Armed Forces with the Turkish drone were gathered thanks to the participation of over 200,000 people in the initiative.

Last Sunday, the 23.5 million zlotys needed for providing Ukraine’s Armed Forces with the Turkish drone were gathered thanks to the participation of over 210,000 people in the initiative.
„Buy a Bayraktar for Ukraine” was hosted by the Zrzutka.pl crowdfunding platform. The initiator of the fundraising is the Polish journalist Sławomir Sierakowski.
According to the crowdfunding organisers, the platform’s servers even broke down several times, given the intense flow of donors.
The Turkish combat drones which Ukraine acquired came into action in the early hours of the Russian invasion and, according to Kyiv, proved to be a particularly effective weapon.
