Rumours about Marcin Dorociński working along with Tom Cruise in the last two films from the “Mission Impossible” series – “Dead Reckoning Part One” and “Dead Reckoning Part Two”. The premieres of these productions are scheduled for June 2023 and July 2024, respectively. The Polish actor ended long weeks of speculations on his Instagram account on Sunday, 23 October.
“I greet you warmly from London. The day has come, and courtesy of the producers of the movie Mission Impossible (…) I can confirm my participation in this legendary series with joy and great emotion,” – he wrote on his Facebook.
“When the first part of the MI series came out in 1996, I was still a student (…) if someone had told me then that 26 years later I would be playing in the last two parts of the Ethan Hunt saga (…) I would have said, ‘No, that’s impossible,’ I would have deeply disbelieved and quickly walked away”, – he continued.
In his emotional publication, Dorociński goes on by explaining how many setbacks and disappointments he has had before eventually succeeding at his dream. “The first casting I received from my London agency was ‘Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol’. I lost. Since then, I have recorded over 1,200 self-tapes. And I have lost all of them (…) over ten years of painstaking recordings, great hopes and efforts and (…) 1,200 painful and severe setbacks”.
He concludes the address to his fans in a motivational tone, encouraging his followers to keep on pushing on towards their goals, no matter the amount of frustration along the way. “Therefore, believe in your dreams and do not give up. Your big, long-awaited dreams may be waiting around the corner. Patience and courage. Good luck!”

Marcin Dorociński turned 49 this year. He played in movies such as Reverse (2009), Rose (2011), Jack Strong (2014), and The Queens’ Gambit (2020), among many others. He shot to international attention for his role as Russian chess player Vasily Borgov. His fans must patiently wait to watch him in the famous MI series.
