An Exhibition Commemorating the Outbreak of World War II, both in English and Polish, under the title „First to Fight” will be presented at the Ognisko Polish Heart in London.

1 September 2019, from 12 pm to 7 pm

2 pm: Official Opening by His Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, Dr. Arkady Rzegocki (in Polish).

Followed by two lectures in Polish:

2:10 pm: Wykład „Terror okupantów wobec polskiej inteligencji w latach 1939 – 1945”

2:30 pm: Wykład „Sukcesy polskie w II Wojnie Światowej”

Prezes PWWB, dr Marek Laskiewicz

The official part will include musical interludes.

At 4 pm, there will be a talk “Polish Successes in WW2“ in English by Dr. Laskiewicz, followed by an explanatory tour of the Exhibition.
