A man was attacked by a gang of 6 thugs on motorcycles. He was pushed off the road and one of the attackers, armed with what looked to be a hammer, wanted to steal his bike. Fortunately, the man was able to use pepper spray to scare off the thieves. 

The video was published on the X platform.

It seems the situation could end up with bright daylight muggery if the man was unarmed. Luckily he was able to deter the attackers. 

It is important to add that while pepper spray can be effective for self-defence, it is not considered a valid reason for possession under UK law. Pepper spray is classified as a prohibited weapon in the UK under the Firearms Act 1968. The use of such weapons is usually analysed before the court, and if it contains any “noxious” substances it may result in criminal liability for the one who used it.
