King Charles and Queen Camilla expressed their sympathy to the victims of the flood

King Charles and the Royal Family expressed their sympathy for the victims of the flood that ruined cities and villages in Central Europe.

The statement says many people in the United Kingdom have „strong, enduring and personal ties” to the region that suffered in the recent flooding caused by heavy rainfall.

The King also expressed his condolences to those who lost their life or most of their property.

The Royal Family praised the „courage and dedication” of the emergency services working in the area.

On September 15 heavy flooding demolished the city of Kłodzko and several other towns and villages in southwestern Poland, Czech Republic and Austria.

The biggest city in the region, Wrocław, still awaits the culmination wave that was disastrous for the city’s infrastructure during the so-called Millenium Flood in 1997.
