Polish pianist Krzysztof Moskalewicz follows a path of versatility in his musical repertoire and values the possibilities for deep communication through the medium of music.
Equally passionate about solo and collaborative performance, Krzysztof has performed at many prestigious venues, including the Barbican Hall, Wigmore Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Milton Court Concert Hall, Birmingham Town Hall, Palacio de Festivales de Santander, and the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio in Warsaw. He has also given concerts at other major venues across Europe, Japan, and the United States.
His performances of Chopin’s music are highly regarded. He recorded an extraordinary recital on Chopin’s own Pleyel piano, on which Chopin composed some of his last works. Most recently, he recorded his debut album, including Chopin’s Four Ballades and Sun Keting’s Four Postcards—new compositions recorded for the very first time.
Krzysztof received a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance with first-class honours from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (studying with Ronan O’Hora) and was offered a prestigious Guildhall Artist Fellowship. He also holds a professional diploma from the Royal Academy of Music, where he studied with Ian Fountain.
