The Polish CD Projekt Red Studio published a trailer for the new part of the Witcher game. It features a video presenting Ciri fighting a new monster in the universe, Bauk, which according to the creators is derived from Serbian Slavic mythology. The game is planned to enter sales in 2027.
During one of the most important events in the world of gaming, The Game Awards, the creators of the Witcher series, Polish game studio CD Projekt Red, announced a new part of the legendary game.
In the new game, the player will most probably follow the story of Ciri who became a full-time witcher, around a century later from the end of the Wild Hunt plot.

In interviews the creators answered many questions about the game, saying the trailer should present the corresponding version of graphics the player will be able to see in the game.
One of the game’s creators, Sebastian Kalemba described the monster presented in the trailer:
“His name is Bauk. He can sense fear. He uses his opponent’s traumas to paralyse them, making them easy prey.”
Ciri’s several-minute clash with the Bauk is truly amazing. Much of this is due to the monster itself, which gives the impression of a real threat to Ciri.
The most passionate players and fans of Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher saga were able to see that according to the trailer, Ciri is still able to use not only the Witcher signs but genuine magic, which is shown by her ability to use water as a source of power.
The Witcher game takes place in a fictional fantasy world based on Slavic folklore. Players used to control the fate of Geralt of Rivia, a monster slayer for hire known as a Witcher, and search for his adopted daughter Ciri. They will now be able to follow the fate of a female character and answer many questions about her destiny.
