London to suspend congestion charge zone for Christmas

As Londoners prepare to relocate around the country for Christmas. As the process will concern more driving around the city, including London’s congestion charge zone, the authorities decided to lower the usual fee amounting to £15 a day.

TfL has confirmed that the £15-a-day congestion charge will be temporarily scrapped for eight days from Christmas Day until January 2,” the TimeOut website reports.

The ULEZ fee will also be suspended but only for Christmas Day.

The Low Emission Zone fee will stay in place for the entire December.
