You are warmly invited to attend the Faldingworth Memorial Re-dedication Service in honour of PAF 300 Squadron and 1667 Heavy Conversion Unit on Sunday, 17 May 2026 at 3:00pm.

RAF Ingham – Centre for Polish Bomber Squadrons warmly invites you to the rededication ceremony of the memorial at RAF Faldingworth, which honours the servicemen of No. 300 “Land of Masovia” Polish Bomber Squadron and 1667 Heavy Conversion Unit.

The memorial is located at the end of the runway at the former RAF Faldingworth airbase. During the Second World War, this was the station of the Polish 300 and 305 Bomber Squadrons, where our airmen gave their lives in the fight for the freedom of Europe.

Running order:

1:00pm – Guests and visitors gather at the village hall for refreshments, with the opportunity to visit the church memorabilia and view exhibits.

2:30pm – Guests and visitors make their way to the airfield at Newtoft Business Park, LN8 3WA. Please note that access to the memorial is via the old runway and perimeter track, which is not maintained.

3:00pm – Service of re-dedication. A Polish priest and VIP guests will give short speeches, wreaths will be laid, visitors will be welcome to lay flowers and candles, and the new interpretation boards at the site will be available to view.

4:00pm – Guests and visitors return to the village hall for further refreshments, bar service, exhibits, visits to the church, and the sharing of memories.

The organisers also invite visitors to the RAF Ingham Centre, located around a 10-minute drive from RAF Faldingworth. It is the only museum in the world dedicated to the Polish bomber squadrons, mainly 300 and 305 Squadron, which were stationed during the war at RAF Ingham (Cammeringham) and Faldingworth airbases.
