Polish Professionals in London: Friday evenings that bring the Polish professional community together

On the first Friday of every month, Poles working in London meet at The Saint, Bow Churchyard, in the heart of the City. They include people from finance, law, tech, consulting and education, as well as entrepreneurs and students. They come to talk, meet new people and spend time with others from the community. This is how Polish Professionals in London, also known as Polscy Profesjonaliści w Londynie, has worked for years.

The meetups are free and informal, with no presentations or fixed agenda. Some evenings have a theme, such as a summer night about growing up in communist-era Poland or a Christmas get-together. The community also works with Birkbeck Polish Society, which brings Polish students from London universities along.

The same community, a new organiser.

the previous organiser stepped down, the members kept meeting. Since 2021 the meetups have been organised by Igor Choromański.

A new LinkedIn Page.

The community’s original LinkedIn Page, Polish Professionals in London (https://www.linkedin.com/company/235339), has not been updated for around six years, although more than 1,000 people still follow it. All news and events are now published on the community’s new official Page, POLSCY PROFESJONALIŚCI W LONDYNIE: Spotkania Networkingowe (https://www.linkedin.com/company/102627028). Both Pages represent the same community and the same members. The organisers have asked LinkedIn to move the followers of the original Page to the new one, and the original Page will then be closed.
