Adrian Kostera completed the 10x Iron Man in the third place

Polish triathlete Adrian Kostera finished third in the Swiss Ultra Triathlon.

Kostera encountered the most significant problems while overcoming the cross-country trail. Swollen feet forced him to run in… flip-flops for several hours.

He was one of the three Poles participating in the event. For a long time, Robert Karaś was in the lead with a huge advantage, but while covering the distance of the last competition, he had to withdraw from the competition. You can read more about it in our article Robert Karaś landed in the hospital while competing in the Swiss Ultra Triathlon.

Tomasz Lus, currently in 11th place, still remained on the route and is expected to complete the challenge this week.

When it comes to Adrian Kostera, the best is yet to come. The young Pole has announced his willingness to complete a historical achievent, namely the longest triathlon ever, during which he plans to swim 18 km for 67 days, but also bike 200km for 155 days, and run 55 km in 145 days.

The completion of this seemingly impossible corresponds to 40.750 km around the earth in 365 days.
