Andrzej Smolik, a Polish producer and composer. Kev Fox, an English musician. Before 2015 they had been working in the music industry as solo artists for years. One concert in 2010 in Warsaw changed their whole careers.
Andrzej Smolik and Kev Fox are a living evidence of how unique an international music duo can be. Before they met, Smolik released a few solo albums, was a host of a Polish radio broadcast and coworked with a lot of famous Polish singers. Fox became a busker on British streets as soon as he realised that music is his biggest passion, then as he began to become a bit more recognisable he released his first solo album and went on a European tour to promote it. In 2010 he was spotted by Smolik during his concert in Warsaw and that’s how their collaboration started.
In 2015 they released a 9-song album which not only turned out to be a bigger success than anything they had produced in their solo careers, but also proved how good they are as a duo. Their electropop/rock/indie album, titled Smolik / Kev Fox, was called the best album of 2015 by Gazeta Wyborcza. That was proven by the favourable outcome of their Regretfully Yours Tour promoting the album.

After the success they made in Poland, Kev Fox decided to settle down in Smolik’s home country. He has been living in Sopot for around 5 years now. In 2017 the duo released another album, an EP this time titled Queen of Hearts. With this one they turned more into a pop rock genre. After their The All Saints Tour in 2019, they announced a break in order to focus on creating another album.

In multiple interviews Smolik and Fox admitted themselves that they feel unique musical connection with each other. Their fans are fully able to hear it in the music made by the duo. Every single one of their songs has a very special vibe, soft and clear as well as deep and enigmatic at the same time. In other words, just mysterious.
To anyone who has never listened to Smolik’s and Kev Fox’s albums and wants to be taken into a magical zone of music created by a Pole and a Brit, I strongly recommend giving this music a go!
