Event place: Londyn

Visit Battle of Britain Bunker.

Commemorate the 79th anniversary of the Battle of Britain Day by joining us for talks, a screening of Spitfire, a special exhibit by the Royal Observer Corp Association, and family activities. We are excited to announce that we will have lectures by author Peter Sikora and display pilot Howard Cook.

Peter Sikora is an aviation researcher, historian and writer who specialises in the history of the Polish Air Force between 1918 and 1946. His presentation will discuss the connections between Polish Military Aviation and the Royal Air Force and the role and achievements of Polish airmen during the Second World War.

Military historian and display pilot Howard Cook – who has flown and studied numerous historic aircraft including the Hurricane – will give a presentation on how the Hawker Hurricane came to be developed and be in place for its critical role during the Battle of Britain – and what it is like to fly. You can reserve tickets here.

There will also be a special screening of Spitfire (2018) at 6pm. Tickets can be purchased here.
