In the first recital of his residency, the star Polish countertenor joins with his equally high-flying pianist compatriot in a programme that includes songs by the Polish Romantic composers Stanisław Moniuszko (1819-72) and Mieczysław Karłowicz (1876-1909), in addition to a wealth of music from the Baroque period.
