Former UFC World Champion Conor McGregor has become the new DM XTB ambassador. By the end of the year, the company’s marketing budget is expected to reach PLN 200 million (GBP 37 million).

XTB is the first Polish company ever to establish cooperation with the Irish champion. McGregor is also the most popular MMA fighter on social media, with over 70 million followers on all platforms.

“I am glad to have become the official ambassador of a leading investment company. I believe sport and investing have a lot in common. In both cases, the same traits lead to success: commitment, mental resilience, and the ability to define personal goals. That is why I was pleased to cooperate with XTB,” – McGregor announced, as quoted by DM XTB. 

“It is with great pleasure that I announce our collaboration with Conor McGregor. We wanted our new brand ambassador to be a global icon. Conor is one of the most successful fighters in mixed martial arts history. Thanks to a huge work ethic and constant improvement of his skills, he was the first in history to become the UFC champion in two weight categories,” – the president of XTB Omar Arnaout explained.

The Irishman is expected to allow the company to expand into the Middle East and Africa markets. The goal is also to start operating in South Africa by the summer of 2023.
