Iga Świątek and Hubert Hurkacz display great form in the Masters 1000 in Rome. On Tuesday afternoon, they qualified for the semis and the quarterfinals respectively.

Iga gave a tennis lesson to the American Madison Keys (6-1; 6-3) in just an hour and seventeen minutes. The Varsovian has not lost a set so far in the Italian capital and continues her impressive winning streak on clay this season. When at such a high level, the Polish superstar will seems (and is) unstoppable.

A few hours later, Hubert Hurkacz validated his ticket for the last eight. The world number 9 needed two hours and fourty minutes to take the better of an inspired Sebastian Baez in three hard-fought sets (5-7; 7-6; 6-4).
The Argentinian had his chance in this interesting battle. Up one set to love, he even led 3-1 in the tie-break of the second set, being four points away from the win. But Hubi showed great composure and accuracy and turned this match on its head.

Świątek will face the winner of the match opposing the Chinese Quinwen Zheng and the American Coco Gauff for a place in the final. Both just players started their match at the moment of writing. Hubi, in turn, will be facing the American Tommy Paul for a place in the semis. The match is scheduled on Wednesday at 11 AM (UK time).
