On 11 November 1918, after 123 years of partitions by Austria-Hungary, Germany, and Russia, Poland regained its independence. We are commemorating this important date in our calendar with an exhibition in both Polish and English, created by Kamila Churska-Wołoszczak and Piotr Wiejska from Instytut Pamięci Narodowej (the Institute of National Remembrance) in Bydgoszcz.
There will also be a short 12-minute film about this exhibition available to watch and two guided tours led by Dr. Marek Laskiewicz in Polish and English.
The Official Opening on the 11th November at 6 p.m. and includes a glass of wine.
