Kraków has once again claimed the top position in the annual ranking created by the international car rental company ‘Discover Cars’, outshining well-known European capitals like Prague and Brussels for the third consecutive year.

Kraków’s Old Town is brimming with basement bars where you can dance your way through the winter blues, and the city offers a rich tapestry of Eastern European history for those with a thirst for knowledge.
Based on the research, Kraków distinguishes itself with notably low prices for both car rentals and hotels, along with an impressive 665 reasonably-priced dining establishments. Notably, a pint in Krakow is a mere £1.95 (€2.25, $2.35).
Prague secures the second position among top European winter destinations, closely trailing Kraków with a score of 37 out of 50 (compared to Krakow’s score of 38). The Czech capital boasts an astounding 1,206 budget-friendly dining options and also excels in terms of affordable lodging and flight choices.
In the third spot is Brussels, known for its abundance of free attractions, including the stunning Grand Place. Additionally, flights to the Belgian capital from London Heathrow are the most economical on the list, averaging around £98.
