The Institute of Polish Military History and Polish Heritage Society UK have announced a fascinating series of lectures for autumn 2025 – spring 2026. All sessions is held online, offering a unique opportunity for anyone interested in Poland’s military past to take part.
Chris Wroblewski has been fascinated with aircraft and Second World War aviation history. A graduate of Centennial College’s aviation maintenance program in Scarborough Ontario and over 36-years as a licensed Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, he served as director of maintenance for the Great War Flying Museum in Brampton Ontario and aviation maintenance instructor at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Along with company courses his aviation training included classes at Bombardier’s Aerospace Training Centre, Flight Safety International, and Pratt & Whitney Canada. An undergraduate at University of Calgary studying for a degree in military history.
Published in the 2009 winter edition of on spec magazine. His background in aircraft maintenance and military history proved advantageous in researching circumstances surrounding the crash of AL523.
