Poland has been named the best budget-friendly destination for solo female travellers, according to a study by the online discount platform Wethrift.
In an analysis by Werhrift of the top 30 countries on the 2023 Women, Peace and Security Index, Poland was ranked first with an impressive score of 99.59 points.
Poland was very well regarded for its strong rating—61.97 for walking alone at night—and good transport and accommodation costs (an average of USD 7.37 for food and USD 1.14 for transportation).
The report also praised Poland’s cultural complexity, explaining its richness and high security standards for women travelling alone.
„As more women plan solo vacations, destinations that balance safety, affordability and authentic experiences will likely see increasing tourism from this growing demographic,” Nick Drewe, CEO at Wethrift, told Polish Radio.
„Poland’s impressive combination of affordability and safety creates a welcoming environment for solo female travellers,” Mr Drewe added.
