A preliminary agreement paving the way for Poland’s integration into NATO’s fuel pipeline system was signed in Warsaw on Friday in the presence of Deputy Defence Minister Cezary Tomczyk. The deal marks the start of a major expansion of Poland’s national fuel infrastructure.
The agreement, concluded between the NATO Support and Procurement Agency and PERN S.A., covers the connection of PERN’s pipeline system to NATO’s fuel distribution network, alongside the construction of additional fuel storage facilities for Alliance forces.
“This is undoubtedly a historic moment for Poland, the beginning of a significant journey we are embarking upon today,” said Deputy Minister Tomczyk.
