British Poles, Independent Research Group and the Transatlantic Alliance Foundation are very pleased to invite you to our upcoming event about “Poland’s Support for Ukraine”, which will take place on the 27th November in One Whitehall Place, Westminster.

The event will showcase an exhibition on the scale of Polish support for Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Amongst the speakers:

  • Francis Dearnley, Daily Telegraph,
  • Yuriy Lysenko, Representative of the Ukrainian Ombudsman, Director of Conservative Friends of Ukraine,
  • Daniel. Kawczynski, MP
  • George Byczynski, UK Friends of Ukraine and Adviser to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Poland,
  • Pawel Pawlowski, Board Member of the Transatlantic Alliance Foundation,
  • Kacper Kita, Expert at the Transatlantic Alliance Foundation
  • General James Everard, NATO’s Former Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe

The Foreign Ministers of UK, Poland and Ukraine signed a Trilateral Partnership on the 17th February 2022, just before the Russian invasion. The strategic consultations between the three powers rightly predicted the Russian threat. The UK and Poland were the first major European powers to immediately bring aid to Ukraine. It is important to remind ourselves of the scale of the support for Ukraine, and why it is crucial today for Europe’s safety to continue pushing against the Russian threat.

The event is free of charge. Registration is obligatory.
