The biggest Polish celebration in West London is back – Polish Day in Perivale – Harvest & Heritage Festival.
On Saturday, 12 September 2026, from 1pm to 7pm, Ealing Central Sports Ground in Perivale will host another edition of Polish Day in Perivale – Harvest & Heritage Festival. This unique event has been bringing the Polish community and local residents together for years, promoting Polish culture, traditions, music and hospitality.
This year’s festival will combine a traditional Polish Dożynki (Harvest Festival) with concerts, artistic performances, family competitions and a wide range of attractions for children and adults. Organisers have prepared a packed six-hour programme, with the main aim of celebrating Polish heritage together and building connections between people from different cultures and backgrounds.
From 2pm to 5pm, the traditional Dożynki celebrations will take place. One of the highlights will be a colourful procession led by the Żywiec Polish Folk Dance Group, together with other folk groups. Visitors will be able to experience traditional harvest rituals, take part in the symbolic sharing of bread and join in a dance of the popular Belgijka.
Polish folk groups, including Orlęta and Koziołek, will perform on stage, alongside children and young people who help preserve Polish traditions outside Poland.
Another important part of the event will be Narodowe Czytanie (National Reading). Selected excerpts from Polish literature will be presented by special guests from Kraków – actors Lidia Bogaczówna-Popiel and Andrzej Popiel.
The special guest at this year’s festival will be Robert Burneika, known as Hardkorowy Koksu – a bodybuilder, entrepreneur and one of Poland’s best-known internet personalities. The event will include opportunities to meet fans, take photographs and get autographs.
Robert Burneika will also take part in two family sporting competitions. The first will be “The Strongest Family in Perivale”, featuring, among other challenges, a family tug-of-war. The second will be a competition for the title of “The Strongest Man in Perivale”, held together with local strongman Dawid Pakulski.
From 1pm to 6pm, an extensive family entertainment zone will be available. Attractions will include inflatables, donkey rides, a mini farm, an Inflatable Axe Throwing Game, children’s and adults’ sumo suits, Rocking Gladiator, face painting, glitter tattoos, games, competitions and activities for children. There will also be popcorn, candy floss and many other attractions for the youngest festival-goers.
The event will also feature a Polish food zone, offering grilled sausages, traditional pea soup, Polish snacks and dishes, as well as beer on tap. There will also be a dedicated area for exhibitors, local businesses, community organisations and sponsors.
The musical programme will begin at 5pm. Edyta Sawa will take to the stage for a spectacular electric violin performance, followed by SILVIA and special guests from Poland – Matt Palmer and Rizi Papi.
The festival finale will be hosted by DJ Nick Van Kukaj, who from 6:30pm to 7pm will invite participants to enjoy some of the biggest Polish and international dance hits.
Admission is available with the purchase of a supporter ticket. Proceeds from ticket sales will help the organisers cover the key costs of staging the festival and provide visitors with a rich programme and numerous free family attractions. While the ticket represents only a small expense for each individual, it provides significant and tangible support for the organisation in creating another special day for the Polish community, local residents, and Polish children and young people growing up in the UK.
