Przemysław Płacheta has become the new player of the Oxford United FC. It means that, despite previous rumours, he will not come back to Poland, but will continue his career in Britain.
The Polish player, now 26 years old, started his career in Britain by moving to Norwich in 2020 from Śląsk Wroclaw. He then occasionally played at Swansea City.
When his contract with Norwich ended many thought Płacheta would return to Poland, but now we know that he will remain in England and his new club, will be Oxford City.
Płacheta commented on the decision:
“I am very happy to be here. I know I can be a reinforcement at Championship level. My strengths are dribbling and speed. Also, I know what the coach expects from his wingers. I want to give the team goals and assists and I will do everything to have a successful season.”
Good luck!
