On the occasion of his second match in the Spanish league, Robert Lewandowski scored his first and second goal for his new club, FC Barcelona. He also provided an assist.
Some started to doubt his ability to remain at his Bayern Munich level. Yet, Lewy proved once again that he is one of a kind. On Sunday night, “RL9” opened the score after only 45 seconds on the day of his 34th birthday.

Last week, the Blaugranas did not start in the best fashion. They lost two points (0-0) against Vallecano. Yesterday, the Catalonians were more inspired. Lewandowski’s early opening goal led them to a big victory (1-4) against Real Sociedad.
The Polish superstar is now one of the four active players having scored a goal in every single minute of the game, along with other elite strikers such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Zlatan Ibrahimović, and Luis Suárez.
With two goals and one assist, “Lewy” was directly involved in his team’s three out of four goals. FC Barcelona is now back in the top 5 of La Liga, and Lewandowski is second in the classification of scorers after two Spanish league days.
FC Barcelona’s next game is a friendly one against Manchester City. The Varsovian sniper will face his rival from the Bundesliga Erling Haaland, who was transferred to the Citizens this summer.
