During this edition of the Heritage Open Days The Piłsudski Institute would like to cordially invite you to 'The Power of Minds. Recreating the Polish Bomba’ talk by Jerry McCarthy which is to be held at the Institute on 14th September at 3 PM.

In the mid-to-late 1930s, Polish mathematicians created a number of methodologies to decrypt messages send using the 3-rotor Enigma. This talk will briefly discuss some of the Polish methodologies for cracking that machine, and focus on the Bomba created by the Poles in the late 1930s.
