Every 6th of January, the Cortege of the Three Kings passes through the streets of Warsaw. This year’s procession was focused on the theme of the celebration. A colourful procession of carollers took to the streets under the slogan „Today is a happy day”.

Due to epidemiological restrictions, the 2022 edition of the cortege was more modest than usual although also last year only a five-person gathering took place without the participation of the public.
Later, the three kings mounted their camels while singing Christmas songs, going from Krakowskie Przedmieście to the Piłsudski Square, where the solemn moment of the Adoration of the Magi took place.

The Star set off at the head of the cortege, followed by a group of little shepherds. The kings were accompanied by knights and courtiers played by young people from several Warsaw schools. The procession ended with a common polonaise to the melody of the Christmas carol „God is born”.
This year, the characters of the Holy Family were played by Aleksandra and Jakub Siekierzyński and their one-year-old son Stefan.

It was the fourteenth edition of the “Procession of the Three Kings” organised in Warsaw. Several similar corteges are also being organised in numerous other Polish cities.
