The White Eagle Club organises a fundraising in support of Ukraine

We ask to join the fundraiser to help Ukraine. First transport with gifts will depart London next week,” the White Eagle club wrote on its official Facebook page.

The following collection at the club will take place on Wednesday (2nd of March) between 3 and 8PM and on Friday (4th of March) between 10AM and 5PM on 211 Balham High Road, London SW17 7BQ.

The organisers emphasise that some elements are particularly needed at the moment, such as batteries (flashlights, candles), clothes (new or very good condition), shoes (new or very good condition), nappies and dressings for children of different ages, dry sanitary products, thermal clothes and shirts, long johns, gloves, painkillers, duvets, blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, sheets and dressings.

The White Eagle Club also underlines that it does not collect food in any form. There is however the possibility to make a financial donation here.

“Dear Donors, Thank you for donations to support the Ukrainian refugees. We did not expect such a response! We would also like to thank all our volunteers who supported us today. Please check the latest updates on this fanpage before travelling to White Eagle Club. Thank you,” the club wrote on its Facebook page.
