Bartosz Chejchman is a young, ambitious student from Poland who successfully applied for studies at the prestigious Oxford University. Thanks to the mentoring program offered by Our Future Foundation, he had the opportunity to prepare for an application to study abroad under the guidance of experienced mentors. His work on the personal statement was intense and demanding, but in the end, he achieved his goal. He is fascinated by all sorts of fields related to CS, including Algorithms, Data Science, Networks and many more.

He got interested in programming about 9 years ago and wanted to start making games, so he learnt programming. Over time, the desire to make games turned into something bigger.
Bartosz is still developing his skills in the field of IT and has already completed several successful projects. One of them is Ivy Ukraine platform, where he volunteered to help with programming.
The project offers educational support for people from Ukraine, where they can find a tutor and gain knowledge, or offer help and share their skills. The project brings together mentors and educational tutors from around the world who are ready to share their knowledge, advice and interests with Ukrainian students looking for support on their path of development.
Anyone in need can use the IvyUkraine.com platform. Tutoring is free and provided in both science and humanities, in the language preferred by the student: Ukrainian, English or Polish. Volunteers are high school students, university students in the country and abroad, as well as teachers.
Ivy Ukraine is a platform initiated by Ivy Poland Academy and IvyConsultants.com. The idea was created in March 2022 in response to Russian aggression against Ukraine and the need to provide humanitarian aid to Ukrainian refugees. Bartosz volunteered to be a developer and wrote some of the application code.
„Thanks to the cooperation of many talented people, we managed to create a platform for students from Ukraine, which allows you to connect with volunteers willing to support their learning. I was inspired to work on Ivy Ukraine because I wanted to help. I decided that it would be good to use my skills and make a contribution to support Ukraine.” – said Bartosz during the interview.
„The situation in Ukraine has forced millions of people to leave their homes, loved ones and friends. Many of them are school children who have been deprived of access to education overnight. That is why we are launching a special project so that children from Ukraine can gain and broaden their knowledge regardless of the situation in their country.” – says Krzysztof Daniewski, president of the Ivy Poland Academy and Ivy Consultants.
