Polish FM Radosław Sikorski becomes an honorary fellow of Oxford Pembroke College

Polish Foreign Affairs Minister Radosław Sikorski, a graduate of Pembroke College at Oxford University, became the first Pole in history to receive an honorary fellowship.

Pembroke College, or The Master, Fellows and Scholars of Pembroke College in the University of Oxford, is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford, founded in 1624 by King James I, named after William Herbert, the 3rd Earl of Pembroke. It’s known for its historic architecture and strong academic performance.

The most famous alumni of the College were J.R.R. Tolkien and Samuel Johnson.
