The final round of the 2023 edition of the London International Chopin Competition for Young Pianists takes place at Ognisko Poliskie – the Polish Hearth on Wednesday 1 March 2023.

From 10:30am to 5:30pm 21 exceptionally talented young pianists from around the world will be competing live.

A Gala Concert will be held in the evening. Tickets are now on sale for the prestigious evening event.

The competition is open to the public for free during the daytime sessions.

This is a privileged chance for young performers to showcase their musical talent in front of the illustrious final round Jury members:

• Professor Vanessa Latarche (Head of Keyboard at the Royal College of Music),
• Professor Dimitri Alexeev (Juror on the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw),
• Professor Piotr Paleczny (Juror and prize winner in the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw),
• Lady Rose Cholmondeley (President of the Chopin Society in London)
• Professor Deniz Arman Gelenbe (Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance).
• Artur Haftman (Royal College of Music)

The evening Gala Concert will feature a repertoire of Chopin pieces from the first prize-winning performers from each age category:

• category A, up to age 11
• category B, up to age 14
• category C, up to age 16
• category D, up to age 19

The standard is expected to be exceptionally high.

The Jury will choose the Grand Prize Winner for the best overall performance after the evening concert.

Attendees will also vote to award the Gala Audience Prize. This promises to be a very inspiring musical event.
