Poland has agreed to support the fast delivery of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote in a post on X. The announcement comes as result of an agreement with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk during the European Political Community summit at the Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.
The Ukrainian president revealed no details about the transfer process and Poland’s detailed role.
Ukraine is expected to receive its first F-16 fighter jets this summer. Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium agreed to supply Ukraine with more than 60 F-16 aircraft.
