TikTok blocked the video of a Polish MP denouncing Germany’s crimes and historical policy

In a recent video shared online by Poland 24, the Polish MP Kacper Płażyński (Law and Justice) criticised how German children are taught about WWII. The video was blocked by TikTok for alleged “hate speech”.

60 % of young Germans believe their grandparents were the Second World War victims. 7 % admitted that they were the perpetrators.” – Kacper Płażyński explains in the recording shot in the garden of the Polish Parliament.

Mr Płażyński further argues with bitterness that German textbooks omit such massive massacres of Polish civilians as the slaughter of Wola, the Warsaw Uprising, or the murder of Poles in the Zamość region.

Instead of information about German bestiality and genocide against Poles, the denounced textbooks contain only a short fragment informing that Germany attacked Poland on the 1st of September 1939.

Do not be surprised that this historical memory of the Germans is so short, and in a few years, we [the Poles] will have become the perpetrators”, – Płażyński adds.

However, TikTok decided to block the film about German crimes, playing the hate speech card.

Believe it or not, the following statement regarding German historical policy and war reparations was blocked on TikTok after the recording was published by Poland24. Citing some facts was considered hate speech,” – Płażyński wrote in the following tweet.

Although the obtention of any war reparations by Poland from its western neighbour remains improbable, a recent poll by Do Rzeczy reveals that every second Pole (50.3%) would be in favour of such reparations.
