UK, Polish FM’s: We share opinion on many international security issues

Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said after a meeting with his British counterpart David Lammy that Poland and the UK share many opinions on international security issues.

The meeting was part of Polish FM Radosław Sikorski delegation to London.

My last but one foreign visit this year – London. With my counterpart David Lammy, we talked about the Polish language and the Polish people, cooperation during the upcoming Polish EU presidency, and – above all – about security,” Sikorski wrote on X.

In the posted video, he added that Russian aggression against Ukraine, the situation in Syria and the UK’s policy towards the European Union were among the most important topics discussed at the meeting.

Poland and Great Britain share the assessment of many international security issues, and this is where the most fruitful field of cooperation is,” Sikorski said in a video published on the X platform.

The head of the British Foreign Office also referred to the meeting with Sikorski in a post on the X platform. He stated that the UK deeply values its partnership with Poland.

As NATO allies working together to bolster European security and defence, we continue to stand united in our support for Ukraine – this winter and beyond,” Lammy declared.
