If you are among our regular readers, you definitely noticed that Poland is a true goldmine of young talented people. Here’s yet another one.
This year, the only Pole admitted to the elite Yale University in Connecticut was 17-years-old Dawid Kopik. The teenager from Gola (Greater Poland, near Leszno) was acknowledged by the prestigious university for his remarkable scientific achievements.

Dawid is a laureate and finalist in numerous competitions for outstanding young people, such as the „Mathematical Kangaroo” or the „Cosmic Challenge Pathfinder”. He was also awarded several times by Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and received several scholarships to continue thriving.
From an early age, Kopik got interested in economics, computer science, physics, law, and social sciences. He will be studying economics and computer science while at Yale.
„I’m always up for new challenges – no matter how difficult they are,” he recently wrote on his LinkedIn profile.
Polish journalist and young talents’ hunter Maciej Kawecki posted a message on his Twitter profile praising the 17-year-old young man. He referred to him as a “great, humble and clever” person.
