Polish national football team manager Michał Probierz commented after a 2-1 defeat to the Netherlands in a Euro 2024 match that his team would not let this loss damage their morale. He addressed journalists during a press conference following the match.
Probierz reflected on the team’s lack of guile in the final stages of their 2-1 defeat to the Netherlands in a Euro 2024 match but emphasised that they are far from finished. He encouraged his players in the dressing room to keep their heads up, viewing the match as a positive sign of progress and a step in the right direction.
Probierz assured that the team would not give up and would strive to win their next two matches. The manager also mentioned that Robert Lewandowski, who is currently recovering from an injury, is likely to play in that match.
The performance by the Polish team was encouraging on Sunday. The Eagles were well organised and often managed to maintain possession. They even took the lead in the first half. Later on, the Dutch managed to secure the most important thing, the three points. Poland’s coach, Michał Probierz, drew attention to himself not only for an interesting strategy applied by his players but by a remarkable sense of style.
The match opposing Poland to Austria will take place on Friday at 6PM in Berlin.
