Miron Mironiuk, the founder of the company, has spearheaded the development of innovative technology that combines location data and artificial intelligence. This technology is proving invaluable for brick-and-mortar stores as it enables them to analyse and predict customer behaviour within physical spaces and execute targeted advertising campaigns. With a vast reach of over a billion smartphones and a presence in 20 million stores, Cosmose has attracted prominent clients, including LVMH, the fashion conglomerate led by Bernard Arnault, the world’s wealthiest individual. Additionally, the company has garnered substantial recognition as one of the most highly valued startups originating from Poland.
„As Poles, we think that our biggest export hits are apples and computer games. And these are actually our programmers. And this is not our mythomania. These are the results of the world’s most important programming competition. If we look at the data from the last decade, Poland is in fourth place. Russia. China. The USA. Poland. What’s fascinating is that we only have one medal less than the USA, even though the US population is nine times bigger than Poland. When we look at the number of medals per citizen, Poland is a world leader in programming. Think about how incredibly important this natural resource is. We live in the 21st century. If you could choose between apples, a diamond deposit, and the best programmers, what would you choose? They are probably the best programmers in the world. Because it will be much more valuable than diamond deposits. In Poland, we have the world’s most important natural resource, which everyone is fighting for. At the same time, as an economy, we are in 50th place in the world in terms of GDP per capita. We have to catch up with the rest of the world. A country with so much intellectual potential shouldn’t be such a poor country.”
