Poland will build its first nuclear power plant

Poland adopted a resolution on the construction of large-scale nuclear power plants on the Baltic coast.  The project is to be conducted by the Polish Nuclear Power Plant in cooperation with Westinghouse Nuclear. Poland is building a barbed-wire fence along its border with Russia

Poland launched the construction of a 2.5-meter barbed-wire fence along its 210-kilometre-long border with the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad.  Such a decision was made because of Warsaw’s concern regarding national security.
